University of Southampton reveals Science Park expansion plans

The University of Southampton has revealed plans to build a new office facility on the Benham Campus as a result of "unprecedented growth" that the science park has experienced in recent years, a news report in the local media has been able to find.

The Benham 5 building will include 30,600 sq ft of office accommodation over three floors along with meeting and conference rooms and a second onsite coffee shop.

The scheme will bring the number of buildings on site to 17 and will allow the park to expand its innovation and enterprise activity, welcome new companies and enable it to cater for existing tenants who are experiencing rapid growth.
