Caparo Testing Technologies, which focuses on the aerospace and aviation industries, was sold by administrators at PwC to testing, inspection and certification group Applus+.

 

The rescued business employs 76 staff across sites in Oldbury, Reigate, Luton, Poole, Witney and Dorset.

 

Robert Moran, the PwC partner leading the Caparo administration process, said: "The sale of Caparo Testing Technologies to Applus+ represents a highly strategic acquisition and demonstrates the quality of this business. It is also great news for 76 employees of the Caparo Industries Group.
