Professional services firm to expand Reading office
A professional services firm has outlined plans to expand its operations in Reading by taking up additional office space which will enable it to grow its local workforce to more than 600 employees, a news report has been able to suggest.
EY has secured a co-working arrangement with Work.Life at the White Building in Reading, and will this month start moving teams from Apex Plaza to the nearby development after signing a 12-month licence.
The firm described the move as a "key stepping stone" for its continued growth in the region.
Richard Baker, EY’s managing partner in Reading, said: "We see this co-working arrangement as a great opportunity to reinforce our support of business prosperity in the region.
"It will enable us to work alongside start-ups and scale-ups in the local market, which is a brand that needs to be promoted and supported. It will also give our people opportunities to work more collaboratively – it’s an exciting time for our regional business."
