New London premises for legal services firm
Outset UK, a Kent-based firm specialising in legal, consultancy and health and safety services, is capitalising upon its growth by expanding into central London.
The company was founded in 2002, and was originally based in Turkey Mill Business Park before moving to at Vinters Business Park, Maidstone Studios in May 2013.
The employee numbers have already increased to more than 65, with remote workers in the West Country, Berkshire and Dorset.
Group chief executive Jonathan Gauton said: "A workforce based permanently in the city of London plays an important role in our strategic plan. It allows us to be even more agile and responsive to our clients’ needs and helps us reach and attract a wider talent base.
"We’re investing heavily in growing a brilliant, relationship-focused team to deliver real value to clients through service innovation and technology. All of which is fundamental to our continued growth."

Moving into London premises is a time to congratulate yourself for your success, but it is also the time, particularly if you are expanding your staff roster, to double-check that your existing systems can handle the increase.
Since it’s what we’re good at, we’ll talk about your time and attendance management system – the way that you record employee attendance and hours. Obviously this kind of a system is useful in waged roles, and if your premises is production or retail based, you likely already have some kind of system to measure these factors.
However, we believe passionately that time and attendance systems have their place in an office environment too. You might not need to know office staff’s hours to the minute, but our software and colourful graphical displays make it easy to record when they are late or ill, and to spot if there are any concerning patterns in their absences.
The Win.TA software also sends you useful alerts, such as if your team are exceptionally busy and risk breaching the European Working Time Regulations.
We can also provide you with our user-friendly Self Service Module (SSM). This web-based or mobile app allows employees to clock themselves in and out, request holiday, amend missing clock-ins and manage their personal details. Managers can approve or deny holiday, clocking amendments, and view an overview of their team’s clock-ins or absences.
