Asset management company opens new Sussex office
An asset management company has announced the opening of a new office in Gatwick manned by 55 members of staff, as it builds on its regional presence, a news report in the local business press has found.
Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM) will open the new office on 22 February, aiming to develop private client work through professional connections as well as pre-retirement lectures for staff employed within businesses in the Gatwick and Kent/Surrey/ Sussex areas.
Patrick Haines, regional director of CBAM, said: "The idea of financial planning can be a daunting one, and this is heightened with reforms changing the way individuals must approach their plans around retirement, investment, tax and inheritance.
"For this reason, it’s vital that the right guidance and advice is made available, and this is why we have made the decision to boost our presence in the Home Counties with our new Gatwick office. We are excited at the prospect of helping those in the local area benefit from the insight of our staff, and working with local businesses to ensure financial planning remains a priority for their employees."
