Jobs in peril as bedroom furnishings company goes into administration

This unfortunate situation has put more than 120 jobs at risk after a Chichester-headquartered bedroom furnishings maker with 25 stores across the country called in administrators.
Feather & Black is owned by the Wade family, which also owns Multiyork, the luxury furniture maker which went into administration earlier this month.
The company has 25 stores, including concessions within Multiyork Furniture. It employs 123 staff.
Allan Graham and Matt Ingram of Duff & Phelps were appointed to Feather & Black Ltd on 27 November 2017 and are seeking a buyer for both businesses.
Allan Graham said: "The joint administrators are trading Feather & Black in administration in the short term with a view to finding a purchaser for the business as a going concern.
"We are confident that a buyer will be found and encourage any interested parties to come forward."
He added that Feather & Black had been impacted by "tough trading conditions" and could no longer meet ongoing liabilities.
