Retailer to create up to 60 new jobs in the South East
One of the UK’s best-known retailers will create up to 60 new jobs in the South East after agreeing to open a 50,000 sq ft customer delivery hub (CDH) in East Sussex, a news report in the local business media has been able to find.
John Lewis’ new hub will complement its existing CDHs in the region and will service John Lewis department stores in Kingston and Bluewater and John Lewis ‘at homes’ in Croydon, Chichester, Tunbridge Wells and Horsham.
Doug Kay, head of CDHs at John Lewis, said: "I’m delighted that we will be opening a new customer delivery hub in Uckfield. This will allow us to successfully support our customers in the East Sussex catchment with the wide range of delivery, installation and assembly services we have on offer for our customers."
Companies of all sizes that plan to expand their staff and further develop their business in a long-term, sustainable manner should also consider the implementation of very solid and reliable workforce management systems, and this is specifically where Time & Attendance South East can help.
